Come on who's is going to be the first to post the first two weeks of their zone diet? Post what you eat everyday and your progress. How you feel, how much weight you lose, your performance in your workouts.

I'm definitely ready to tweak my diet. I usually follow the zone diet, but have been veering off recently. Time to get back on. I started today. I'm allowed 3.3 blocks of protein, carbs and fat. I'm three meals in and so far so good. Anyone else want to join me? I'm going to get Chris to do it also. He's usually good for about 3 to 4 days. Let's see if he can go the distance with me.

Who else?

Is that a challenge Patty? O.K. I started on Monday, usually I lose it by Friday but now I have someone to battle against.
Meal # 1 was a lean body shake, Meal # 2 was 12 egg whites and oatmeal with 12 almonds, Meal # 3 was Cottage Cheese on 2 slices of W.W. bread and some avodado, Meal # 4 was a zone bar.

Ok Chris, meal #1 6 egg whites one slice whole wheat bread, meal #2 3 ounces chicken 4 cups romain lettuce 2 slices thin reganita cheese balsamic vinegar, meal #3 zone bar, Meal #4 3 ounces grilled salmon 2 cups broccoli sauteed. meal #5 will be zone bar or I might skip.

By the way, there's no McDonalds or Burger King on the zone diet! Good luck.

Day 2 Meal #1 4 egg whites, yogurt, 2/3 cup oatmeal, 9 almonds; meal #2 zone bar; meal #3 steamed broccoli, chicken and shrimp; meal #4 protein shake, meal #5 zone bar

Day 3 Same as day 2 but meal #3 was a greek salad with chicken. Haven't heard from Chris in a few..... as expected.

Day 4, meal #1 4 egg whites, 2/3 cup oatmeal, small yogurt, Meal #2 and #3 zone bars, Meal #4 Steamed Chicken and broccoli with brown rice. Chris where are you?

Day 1, Meal 1. Coffee, buttered roll. meal 2, corned beef, potatoes, 2 pints, guinness draught.

Cool Nash, your off to a good start. I think you have a perfectly balanced diet going. Maybe a little protein powder in the guiness.

getting better....M1 3 egg whites, pinch of cheese, on a whole wheat muffin.
(coffee is constant) M2 is where it goes to crap/ Black and white cookie, M3 Buffalo chicken pizza, 1 slice, and a coke....topped it off on 4, back on target...egg white omelet with filet mignot and asparagus.

Ok Nash now you're talking. So you slipped but got back on. Everyone should eat 4 to 5 small meals a day and keep it healthy. Not only will you lose weight but your body will be refueled throughout the day and your CrossFit workouts will be that much better. Who else is on? You got nothing to lose! Give the Zone a try.:)
