That’s sick John, thanks!!
Umm… Now to see if I can get out there!
so this one is for chris and jay d. from time to time I do a little spying on your website to help me figure out what wod I’m gonna do out here in africa. I like the power clean wod from yesterday and I disappointed myself by finishing up at 11:01.BBBBBut I modified it, the dips I did on the rings but to get to the dip I had to do a muscle-up. So by the last dip I ended up with 5 muscle-ups. Constructive criticism time tell me what you think. thanks
Nick: Nothin more than, I like! Well, done. You got the rings out, why not add some variation? And no worries at 11:01. I got 13:23. Just heavy weight.
As for constructive criticism. (pretty much goes for everyone). Don’t wory about the time. Worry about how you feel after the workout. If you fell on the floor, passed out, puking on the last rep. Easy, you went hard that day. You never want to walk away from a workout saying, “I could have and/or should have gone faster… ”
Here’s me in that wod…

There’s a quote, “It’s on you.” And that says it all. No excuses and no one to blame but yourself. Only you can make your self push harder. What’s hard? That’s up to you…
so yea I checked out your wod, dude very studly. I don’t remember how much you weigh but im guessing in the realm of 10 to 15 pounds less than 155 so, beast. Im no trainer but how did you feel about the wide leg spread when you caught the bar instead of getting a little more below it? For me say 15 pounds above my body weight 193 that wod would’ve taken me in the realm of 20 minutes…..your a beast keep it up catch you guys in a few months
Nick it’s actually 42lbs above his bodyweight! He is a beast! If that was me I’d have to do 292lb Power cleans 45 times = Death! Anyway good to hear from you. Great idea adding muscle ups to the wod, work with what you have and destroy it!
hahahaa, Thanks. Yeah, feat go wide when I don’t want the extra work to squat. I hate stopping in a 1/4-1/2 squat, rather just get low. So when I don’t have to get low, legs will spread. Not too much of course. There is a limit were I will end up with a few squats.
Enjoy!
all i got for that is jay….your a freak
